Terms and Conditions

CSCS Touch Screen Test:

All candidates are required to complete their CSCS H&S touch screen test prior to a CPCS course/testing.  All candidates are required to take the relevant CSCS Health Safety and environment test and this must be in date as required by the CPCS Scheme Rules (page 8 section B2 14-26 of the operator scheme rules).  Failure to comply with this will lead to candidate not being eligible to take their course/test and full payment will still be applicable.

Course correspondence and confirmation:

All correspondence regarding bookings will be sent to the named booker on the booking form.

Nothing will be sent to the individual delegates; it is the responsibility of the booker to pass all information onto the delegate.

Payment:

On receipt of your booking form an invoice will be sent for the full amount, no earlier than three months before the start of the course. Our payment terms are 30 days from the date of the invoice (This is subject to the necessary credit checks in order to set up a 30 day credit account).  Please make sure that if your company requires a purchase order number with the invoice that this detail is included on your booking form.

Late payment – Construction Training Assessments reserves the right to charge reasonable administration costs/interest where settlement is unduly delayed.

Cancellation Policy:

  • Within twenty-eight (28) days of the course start date – 20% fee
  • Within twenty-one (21) days of the course date – 100% fee
  • 100% of the fee where attendees Fail to attend at the Location of the course date to receive the services – 100% fee

Cancellations/Postponements (includes lack of delegates or facilities upon arrival - see above) - once a booking is confirmed, unfortunately, we do not accept cancellations. Postponements are permitted providing more than 10 working days’ notice is given, in writing. Alternative dates must be confirmed at the time of postponement and courses can be postponed on no more than one occasion.

Transfer Policy:

To transfer the named delegate to an alternative date, charges will be levied as follows:

  • More than 20 working days prior to the course date – no fee
  • Between 20 working days and 10 working days inclusive - £25 administration fee plus VAT
  • Less than 10 working days in advance – 100% of the new course fee payable

Substitutions:

Substitution of delegates may be made but must be advised in advance so that course information can be amended.

 

For courses  or qualifications delivered at your site – please ensure the availability of: 

All delegates - Uninterrupted attendance is important for effective learning and to meet the minimal learning hours requirements set by the accrediting bodies and all delegates must be medically fit to operate the equipment.

Special needs - If any delegates have special needs we must be advised at least 7 days prior to course commencement.

Appropriate equipment - All equipment must be in a safe and sound mechanical condition.

Practical /observation area - Must be safe and fit for purpose in line with the course requirements as specified during course confirmation.

Theory classroom - A suitable learning environment with table, chairs, electrical socket and a wall/screen suitable to allow projection.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) - This should be worn by all delegates in accordance with HSE Regulations and your own company policies and procedures.

All courses are conducted in English - It is vital, for Health and Safety reasons, that all delegates have sufficient working knowledge of English to allow them to participate fully.

General Terms and Conditions:

Certificates - Will be forwarded on completion of qualification once the invoice has been settled in full.
